Terms & Conditions

"Company", "we", "us" refers to Bath Airport Transfers. "Client", "you", "passenger" refers to the person making the booking and/or travelling in the vehicle. "Journey" means any transport service booked through us. "Driver" means the licensed private hire driver assigned to your journey.

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us by email. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

It is your responsibility to provide accurate journey details at the time of booking — including pickup address, destination, flight number, date, time and number of passengers. Errors resulting from inaccurate information provided by the client are not our responsibility.

We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day bookings are subject to availability and must be made by phone.

All prices quoted are fixed at the time of booking and are inclusive of fuel, road tolls, congestion charges and any applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated. Prices are exclusive of VAT for tour services (VAT added at checkout).

Payment may be made online at the time of booking (card/PayPal via our booking platform) or in cash to the driver at the end of the journey. We do not accept cash for pre-paid online bookings.

We reserve the right to amend prices in the event of significant changes to fuel costs, road charges or other external factors. Any such change will be communicated before your journey and you will have the right to cancel free of charge.

Airport transfers: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged at up to 50% of the journey price. No-shows (failure to appear without prior notice) will be charged in full.

Tours: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure. Cancellations within 48 hours may be charged at 50% of the tour price. Same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

Amendments to bookings (date, time, vehicle, route) are accepted free of charge up to 24 hours before the journey, subject to availability. Please contact us by phone or WhatsApp to amend your booking.

In the event that we need to cancel your booking (e.g. vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or alternative arrangement.

Airport pickups: We include 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time from your actual landing time (as tracked by us in real time). Additional waiting time beyond 60 minutes is charged at our standard waiting rate, which will be communicated to you if applicable.

Other pickups: We allow 10 minutes of complimentary waiting time from the agreed pickup time. After this, waiting time may be charged.

We monitor inbound flights in real time. Delays do not affect the fixed price of your journey.

Passengers must not:

• Smoke or vape in any of our vehicles
• Consume alcohol or illegal substances in the vehicle
• Behave in a threatening, abusive or disruptive manner towards the driver
• Exceed the maximum passenger capacity of the booked vehicle
• Carry items that are illegal, dangerous or excessively soiling

The driver reserves the right to refuse travel or terminate a journey without refund if a passenger is behaving dangerously or abusively.

Any damage caused to our vehicles by a passenger will be charged to the client at the cost of repair or valeting.

Our standard luggage allowance per vehicle is as stated on our fleet page. If you have oversized, unusual or excessive luggage, please inform us at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee accommodation of undisclosed excess luggage.

We accept no liability for loss or damage to luggage carried in our vehicles unless caused by proven negligence on the part of our driver.

Child seats and booster seats are available on request at no additional charge. Please specify the age and weight of your child at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the accompanying adult to ensure the child is correctly secured in the seat.

Under UK law, children must use the correct child restraint until they are 12 years old or 135cm tall, whichever comes first.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure punctual collection and delivery, we cannot accept liability for delays caused by traffic conditions, accidents, road closures, adverse weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

In such circumstances, we will endeavour to notify you as early as possible and arrange an alternative where practicable. We recommend allowing sufficient time before flight departures — see our departure time guide for advice.

Our liability to you is limited to the cost of the journey booked. We are not liable for consequential losses including missed flights, missed connections, hotel costs or any other indirect costs arising from a late or cancelled journey, except where caused by our proven negligence.

We carry full UK Private Hire Vehicle insurance covering passengers for the duration of their journey. All drivers are licensed by the relevant local authority and hold valid DBS enhanced criminal record checks.

If you have a complaint about any aspect of our service, please contact us within 7 days of the journey at [email protected]. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
